Video narration
Are computers smarter than humans? On a school test, a calculator can answer before you finish reading the question. But you can explain what it means, notice a missing clue, and decide whether the answer makes sense. Fast and correct is useful-but it is not the whole of intelligence. Intelligence means learning, reasoning, adapting, and using knowledge toward a goal. Human intelligence also draws on experience, meaning, emotion, and flexible judgment when situations change. Artificial intelligence finds patterns in examples and performs some defined jobs at enormous speed and scale. It can excel at a narrow task, but that does not give it one overall score against every human ability. Here is the turn: "smarter" is the wrong single question. Better at which task? So, are computers smarter than us? At some tasks, yes. But humans bring lived experience, flexible judgment, and meaning.
