Your learners may know the rule, yet freeze when they need help in class. You've covered rule after rule, but when a learner gets stuck, the words don't come. Don't add another rule. Help them use one useful sentence. Choose a sentence that fits what they need to say: "Could you help me, please?" Model it in the moment: pause over a difficult task and ask for help. Now it has a reason, not just a pattern. Practice it together, then change one detail: ask about a word they don't understand. Keep practice brief. Then give them a real chance to ask you for help without feeding them the words. Your measure: can they use the sentence when they need it? Keep the lesson small: help them ask for help in English, then let them try it for real.
