Can a reading of the pulse at your wrist really tell you about your health? Nadi Pariksha is an Ayurvedic practice that interprets the pulse through a traditional way of understanding the body. When a practitioner feels it, they notice its qualities and consider what those qualities suggest within Ayurveda. One idea they use is dosha: an Ayurvedic concept for patterns of balance in the body. But feeling a pulse is direct; interpreting it as a sign of dosha balance is a traditional Ayurvedic framework, not a measurement of disease. Practitioners may interpret those qualities differently, so there isn't one universal reading to memorize. So, can it reveal your health? In Ayurveda, Nadi Pariksha uses the wrist pulse as a clue about dosha balance-not as a proven, standalone way to diagnose disease.
