Prompt

Source idea used to generate this video.

Make a model of an element, compound, and mixture using rangoli colors. Materials: card paper, glue, rangoli colors, pencil Procedure Step 1: Element Model 1. Draw several identical circles on card paper. 2. Apply glue. 3. Fill all circles with the same rangoli color. 4. Connect identical particles where necessary. Example: - O₂ molecules - N₂ molecules Step 2: Compound Model 1. Draw the particle arrangement of NO₂ or H₂O. 2. Fill different atoms with different colored rangoli. 3. Show bonded particles touching each other. Step 3: Mixture Model 1. Draw particles of N₂ and O₂ together. 2. Use different colors. 3. Keep molecules separate to indicate no chemical combination. First tell about materials and give some instructions. Make a step-by-step video of the above procedure.

Your card paper is ready, with pencil, glue, and rangoli colors. Choose a color for each atom kind; real atoms aren't these colors. Draw circles, add a little glue, and fill them all alike. This is an element: only one kind of atom. For O2, touch identical circles in pairs, like matching colors grouped in a rangoli pattern. Now make H2O, water. Use one color for hydrogen and another for oxygen. Put two hydrogen circles touching one oxygen circle. Different atoms bonded in one set group make a compound. For a mixture, draw pairs of one color for N2 and another for O2. Keep each pair together, but leave the two kinds of molecules separate. They share the card without bonding to each other. Compare your three rangoli patterns: one kind of atom, different atoms bonded, or different molecules kept separate. That's what the colors and groupings show.
