Video narration
You walk into a welcoming workplace, where people greet one another warmly, listen, and make space for every voice. It feels ordinary-and that is the point. Respect is present in how people meet and treat one another. Now notice one person standing among colleagues. They are not respected because of a role, background, or contribution. Respect is not something you earn by fitting a mould. Every person already has dignity and value. These are not qualities granted by others; they belong to each of us. Look around, and the principle becomes wider. People from different backgrounds stand as equals, sharing space and treating one another with consideration. Human Rights begins here: recognising that every person matters. When we welcome someone, listen to them, and treat them fairly, we acknowledge their worth. Respecting Human Rights is one way to recognise that worth-because every person has dignity and value.
