Video narration

When you look at the sky, land, water, and living things, who brought this world into being? Islam's answer is Allah: Creator of the heavens and earth. The Qur'an says they were created in six ayyam, usually translated as "days." That word has been understood in different ways, so it's not careful to turn it into a precise modern timeline. You may hear "Kun fayakun"-"Be, and it is"-used to describe Allah's command. But it isn't a scene-by-scene account of stars forming, oceans appearing, or mountains rising. A dramatic retelling can add imagined images; that doesn't make every image a Qur'anic statement. Claims from hadith are also distinct from what the Qur'an says. That distinction matters when a video makes creation look like a film. So who brought the world into being? Islam teaches that Allah created the heavens and earth in six ayyam.
