Video narration
Tess was eight when she heard her father whisper, "Andrew may not survive without an operation." Her brother was very sick, and the family had no money left. They were moving to a smaller house. Then came the words that frightened Tess most: "Only a miracle can save him." She emptied her coin jar, counted every coin, and carried them to the chemist. "I want to buy a miracle for my brother," she said. The chemist did not laugh. He listened. When Tess explained, he offered to pay for Andrew's treatment. "Tell me," he said, "how much does it cost?" Tess thought a miracle was something her coins could buy. The chemist showed her that it can begin when someone chooses to help. Tess could not buy a miracle. But her love brought help from a place she never expected-and gave hope a chance to begin.
