Video narration
How can your friend far away learn that today's homework is due? Imagine you need to share that message. If you tell your friend aloud, your voice carries it. If you write it in a note, the words carry it. A school bell, a hand wave, or a sign can communicate too, even without spoken words. A picture can show the homework, and a phone can carry your speech, a text, or a picture. That is why we call these different means of communication. Communication is not only talking. It is any clear way a message travels from a sender-the person sharing it-through a means of communication to a receiver-the person getting it. Choose the way that fits: speak together, write for later, or use a phone when distance separates you. Your message travels through a call, text, picture, or letter-from you to your friend.
