Video narration
Too often, a new employee's first-week checklist turns into paperwork, questions, follow-ups, and reminders. With an HRIS, that checklist becomes a six-stage journey. First, the offer is accepted and the system validates the new hire's data. Next, it creates a preboarding checklist for paperwork, equipment, and training, and sends the employee to a dedicated portal. There, questions get an instant answer when a similar one already exists, or the system searches the company knowledge base. The employee submits the onboarding form too. The form is validated, then reviewed by the manager and HR before approval. That's the turn: onboarding stops being a chain of follow-ups and becomes one automated workflow. After approval, onboarding is marked complete, the HRIS is updated, and the 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins are scheduled automatically. The checklist stays on track from offer accepted to 90-day milestone, while HR spends less time chasing paperwork.
