Video narration
Ever been in a group project where everyone can do something, but nobody knows who gets the final say? One person changes the plan, another objects, and when the result goes wrong, responsibility seems to belong to everyone-and no one. A project starts by agreeing on basics: who decides what, which rules or limits apply, how disagreements are settled, and who answers for the result. That agreement prevents confusion before the work gets messy. That is governance. It is not bureaucracy, and it is not the work itself. It is the structure that makes authority, rules, and accountability clear. Management is different, but connected: governance sets the direction and boundaries; management carries out the work within them. So, before your group begins, make responsibility visible. In a project or a whole organization, governance means knowing who decides, what rules apply, and who answers for the result.
