You remember the formula, but when a maths worksheet question is in front of you, why do you still get stuck? Because a formula doesn't tell you what the question is asking or which idea to use. Formulas help, but only when you know how to apply them. Take x plus two equals five. We need the number that makes it true. Since two is added to x, subtract two from both sides: x plus two minus two equals five minus two. The twos cancel, so x equals three. Check: three plus two is five. On a worksheet, understand what's asked, choose the idea, then apply it. Now you can work through the next question instead of guessing. So, why were you stuck? Remembering a formula alone isn't enough: understand the question, then choose the right idea. Learn with SBIT Elite Institute.
