Video narration
What happens inside your phone when you tap Send on a message? That tap is input: it gives the computer data to work with-the words you typed and the command to send them. Next, the processor follows instructions from a program. It checks the data, prepares the message, and decides what to do with it. Memory holds information the system needs right now, while storage can keep data and instructions for later. Your phone then sends the message onward, and the result comes back as output: the message appears on a screen. Here is the important shift: a computer is not a magic box that understands your wishes. It follows instructions and works on data. So what happens after that tap? The system takes your input, processes it with instructions, holds what it needs, and returns the result as output: a message on your screen.
