Video narration
What would happen if you asked your classmates how they travel to school and wrote down every answer? That list is data: recorded facts or answers about something. Some walk, some take buses, and others ride bikes. The number of students is numerical data-data written as numbers. Their written answers are text data, such as "walk" or "bus." A photo of the school entrance is image data. A recorded interview gives you audio data, and a class video can contain both images and sound. These answers stop being just a list when you sort them, count them, and look for patterns. You might notice that most students walk, helping the school think about safer paths or bike parking. So, what is data? It isn't only computer numbers. It's recorded evidence-numbers, words, pictures, sounds, and videos-that helps you find patterns and make decisions.
