Rereading your notes can feel like real studying, but then a test question appears and the idea won't come back. That's fixable. For your next school test, read a small section, then close the book. Try to explain the main idea out loud or write what you remember, without peeking. Stuck? Open your notes, check what you missed, and fix that part. Then try a few questions. Getting one wrong is useful: it shows you what to review, so don't skip the answers that feel uncomfortable. Later, come back to the tricky parts and test yourself again. The shift isn't more hours. Find what you can't remember, then work on it. Keep the loop simple, and adjust it to your subject and the time you have. For your next test: try to remember, check, fix, and revisit later.
