At the park, a black Labrador and a Golden Retriever are comparing snacks. The Labrador sits up proudly. "My mother is the best! She gives me really good food." The Golden Retriever grins. "No, my mother is the best! She cuts fruit into pieces and feeds it to me." You know how it feels when a friend brings a favorite snack. Yours may be different, but you both enjoy something special. So, which sounds better: the Labrador's good food, or the Golden Retriever's cut-up fruit? Which mother wins? Then both dogs pause. Different treats don't tell you who is loved more. "My mother cares for me," says the Labrador. "Mine cares for me, too," says the Golden. They agree: "We can't choose. Both our mothers are kind, and they love us so much!" Different snacks, same big love-that's what matters.
