For **Video 8**, let’s cover **Digital Root**. The textbook explains it as repeatedly adding the digits until a single digit remains; for example, `489710 → 29 → 11 → 2`. It also notes that multiples of 9 have digital root 9.
### 🎬 VIDEO 8 — “THE DIGITAL ROOT MAGIC”
```text id="q9v2c1"
Create a 70-second REAL 2D CARTOON EDUCATIONAL ANIMATION for Class 8 Mathematics.
TITLE: “THE DIGITAL ROOT MAGIC”
IMPORTANT:
Create an actual animated cartoon story, NOT a slideshow, presentation, or static infographic.
Characters must physically move, walk, talk, pick up number cards, write on the board, point, calculate, react and change facial expressions.
Do NOT use an adult teacher.
Do NOT use stock footage.
Do NOT create static presentation slides.
CHARACTERS:
Dheeraj — 13-year-old Indian Class 8 boy, white school shirt, dark blue trousers, school ID card, short black hair, energetic and playful.
Dhatri — 13-year-old Indian Class 8 girl, white school shirt, dark blue skirt, school ID card, tied black hair, intelligent and curious.
Keep exactly the same character appearance throughout the entire video.
SCENE 1 — THE MYSTERY NUMBER
Show Dheeraj entering the classroom holding a large number card:
489710
Dheeraj says excitedly:
“This number is huge! Can we turn it into just ONE digit?”
Dhatri smiles:
“Of course!”
She takes the number card and begins separating its digits.
SCENE 2 — ADD THE DIGITS
Show the digits clearly:
4 + 8 + 9 + 7 + 1 + 0
Animate the numbers moving together.
Show:
4 + 8 + 9 + 7 + 1 + 0 = 29
Dheeraj says:
“But 29 has two digits!”
Dhatri replies:
“Then we do it again.”
SCENE 3 — REPEAT
Animate:
29 → 2 + 9 → 11
Dheeraj reacts:
“Still two digits!”
Dhatri laughs:
“One more time!”
Animate:
11 → 1 + 1 → 2
The number 2 becomes large and glows.
Dhatri says:
“Now we have one digit!”
Show the complete sequence:
489710 → 29 → 11 → 2
SCENE 4 — INTRODUCE DIGITAL ROOT
Dhatri writes on the classroom board:
DIGITAL ROOT
Then underneath:
Keep adding the digits
until only ONE digit remains.
Show:
489710 → 29 → 11 → 2
Dheeraj says:
“So the digital root is 2!”
SCENE 5 — THE NUMBER 9 CLUE
Dhatri writes:
18
Show:
1 + 8 = 9
Then:
27
2 + 7 = 9
Then:
45
4 + 5 = 9
Dheeraj notices the pattern.
“Why do they all become 9?”
Dhatri smiles mysteriously.
Show:
18 → 9
27 → 9
45 → 9
Then briefly show:
“Multiples of 9 → Digital Root 9”
Do not over-explain.
SCENE 6 — STUDENT CHALLENGE
Dheeraj writes a large number on the board:
5832
He turns toward the audience.
“Can YOU find its digital root?”
Show:
5 + 8 + 3 + 2 = ?
Do NOT reveal the final answer.
Dhatri points toward the digits and says:
“Keep adding until only one digit remains!”
Final screen:
DIGITAL ROOT
“Add the digits again and again
until ONE digit remains.”
“Can you crack 5832?”
Use bright, engaging 2D cartoon animation, smooth camera movement, close-ups of digits, physical interaction with number cards, expressive reactions and energetic pacing.
Keep the mathematics accurate and suitable for Class 8.
