Video narration
Before you ride, put on a properly fitted helmet and fasten the strap. Do a quick bike check: tires look firm, brakes feel solid, mirrors are set, and the area is clear. Start the bike, squeeze the clutch, and shift down into first gear. Now, look straight ahead, keep your body relaxed, and feet ready to steady the bike. Slowly release the clutch until you feel the bike begin to pull, then gently roll on a little accelerator to move forward. Keep your speed low and balance by looking where you want to go, not down at the ground. To slow or stop, ease off the accelerator and use both brakes smoothly—no sudden grabs. If you’re new, practice first in an open, empty place to build confidence before riding in traffic. On the road, ride slowly, follow traffic rules, stay calm, and ride safe.
