In a dark bedroom, a tiny night-light can make bedtime feel safe. High above, a little star named Twinkle felt the opposite. Each evening, when the sun went down, she tucked herself behind a cloud. “I don’t want to shine tonight,” she whispered. The wise Moon saw her and smiled. “Twinkle, the dark isn’t your enemy. It is waiting for your light.” Twinkle peeked out. She was still scared, but took one brave step and began to glow. Softly at first, then brighter and brighter. Far below, a little girl looked up. Twinkle’s light helped her feel safe, and she smiled. Twinkle saw that her light could help someone else. After that, she stopped hiding. Being brave does not mean you never feel scared. It means you choose to do something kind and helpful anyway. Even a small light can make someone else feel less afraid.
