Video narration
On this offshore walkdown, the air is hot and humid, and crews keep working with nowhere nearby to cool down. Your route takes you past the work area: there's no shaded shelter, no cooler, and no cooling water available. That gap is easy to mistake for ordinary discomfort, especially when the shift is already underway. But heat and humidity make cooling down harder. This is a heat-stress concern, not just an unpleasant shift. At the next check, the inspecting safety officer brings the missing provisions to the supervisor's attention, clearly identifying what isn't available. The report doesn't mean the gap is already fixed; it makes the condition visible to the person who needs to know. That is part of the walkdown: notice what crews need to work safely, then raise what is missing. On your next offshore walkdown, tell the supervisor plainly when shade, a cooler, or cooling water is absent.
