Video narration
Think of the morning you know: darkness gives way to light, and the world fills with life. Genesis, the Bible's creation story, follows that movement across seven days. On day one, God brings light into darkness. On day two, God makes the sky, separating waters above from waters below. On day three, dry land appears, and plants grow. On day four, the sun, moon, and stars appear in the sky. On day five, creatures fill the waters, and birds fill the sky. On day six, land animals appear, then people, made in God's image. God sees all he has made, and it is very good. The climax is not another act of making. God rests-not because he is tired. He blesses the day and makes it holy. Creation is complete.
