Ramu steps into Shyamu's home, where a warm welcome comes with a promise: "Sit, sit! I've made special arrangements for you today." Ramu settles in, pleased. After a while, Shyamu returns from the kitchen with a plate: two dry rotis and one onion. That's it. At a friend's house, you expect to leave full. This plate has other plans. Ramu stares at it. "What is this, brother?" Shyamu proudly explains, "Everything's so expensive these days. I thought the taste of friendship should be above inflation. So today, I'm serving you friendship!" Ramu quietly eats. When Shyamu asks how it was, Ramu says, "Really good! But next time, add a little vegetable curry. The friendship was excellent; I'm just still a little hungry." Shyamu smiles: "Fine, I'll add vegetables next time. But remember-you're paying for them!"
