How do you solve a percentage question before the mock-test clock runs out? Usually, you multiply, then divide by 100. Under pressure, use this swap: X% of Y = Y% of X. In plain words, swap them, then choose the easier calculation. So 18% of 250 becomes 250% of 18. And 250% = 2.5 times. That gives you 18 times 2.5: 45. Done before the clock steals another second. Try the next card: 25% of 48. Twenty-five percent is one-fourth, so divide 48 by 4. The answer is 12.
