Video narration
The moment you put your phone aside at night, your brain suddenly goes, "Great. Let's remember that embarrassing thing from seven years ago." All day, you're busy-work, messages, people, your phone. Your mind has plenty competing for your attention, so those thoughts don't stand out as much. But when everything gets quiet, they become much easier to notice. Suddenly: "What did they think of me?" "Why did I say that?" Then one thought grabs another, and before you realise, you're replaying the entire conversation like it's happening again. Here's the important part: a thought showing up at night doesn't mean it needs an answer right now. Just tell yourself: "This is a thought. I don't have to solve it right now." You can notice it without turning it into a late-night investigation. If your brain becomes a detective exactly when you try to sleep, comment, "Mera bhi."
