Poof! The monkey pulls the hat over his head-and vanishes. Like hide-and-seek, you know he's still there, even though your eyes can't find him. He giggles. His giggles pop up from nowhere. He tiptoes through the jungle, feeling very clever. On goes the hat; away goes the monkey! But then the brim wiggles. The hat slides off. The monkey appears, blinking. He reaches for it, and the hat hops just out of reach. He lunges. It plops right back onto his head. Poof! Gone again. The monkey pats the air, turns in a circle, and grabs at the brim, but the hat keeps slipping away and popping back on. Now he's the one being fooled. At last, the hat settles neatly on his head, as if nothing happened. The jungle's cheekiest trickster wasn't the monkey. It was his hat!
