After Krishna defeated Kansa in Mathura, the king Jarasandha is said to have attacked again and again. With each siege, ordinary people faced greater danger. So Krishna chose not to stay and prove power—he chose to move his citizens to safety. Legend says he selected a site by the sea, where the sea god granted land, and Vishwakarma built a splendid city. Dwarka, surrounded by water, became a symbol that true leadership protects first.
